At Exodus Proseal and Crack Repair, we use a premium, environmentally friendly, water-based asphalt emulsion sealer fortified with 2 pounds of sand per gallon to improve durability, enhance skid resistance, and provide a long-lasting, professional finish. To further increase flexibility, adhesion, and resistance to weathering, we blend in a high-quality polymer additive. For asphalt crack repair, we use high quality commercial grade crack filler to properly seal and protect cracks from water intrusion and further deterioration.
Every project begins with meticulous surface preparation, which is the foundation of a quality sealcoating job. We thoroughly clean the pavement using commercial-grade equipment to remove dirt, dust, leaves, and loose debris. When necessary, oil and fuel stains are treated with a specialized primer to promote proper adhesion. Any cracks identified during the estimate are professionally repaired before the sealcoat is applied, creating a clean, uniform surface that maximizes the life of the pavement.
To achieve the best possible results, we tailor our application method to the condition of the asphalt and, when appropriate, the customer’s preference. Depending on the project, we apply the sealer using professional spray equipment or brush application . Spray application provides smooth, uniform coverage and excellent efficiency on suitable surfaces, while brush application works the sealer deep into the pores and minor surface imperfections of the asphalt for enhanced penetration and protection. By selecting the most appropriate application method for each project, we ensure consistent coverage, exceptional appearance, and long-lasting protection against weather, water, UV rays, and everyday wear.
